1. Why this, why now

I wanted a separate space from my “Omniverse” Substack, so I can still release short stories there and give those who want a serialized story what they want here. I also wanted to try out the monetization function on here. The “Omniverse” will remain free as a bird. There you can read my short fiction and comment to your heart’s content. Here, there will be something a little different.

2. What kind of community are you looking to build here

So you’ve read my short stories and you want to sink your teeth into something more. But you’re not quite sure you want to buy one of my books or become a patron on a different site. I enjoy the ecosystem here. I’ve already made some good contacts. Now I want to make some fans. Whether you support me here or elsewhere, I can use your support financially. This is a space for True Believers, people who think my words are worth their ducats.

3. What can you expect?

• I will post a new section of story on Wednesdays.

• The first section will be free to read.

• Subsequent sections will be for $$$.

• Paid subscribers can also ask questions and otherwise chat and leave comments.

• Early annual subscribers will get an audiobook version of the story.
